The Son of the Sun
/
A Dakotan Nature of Atoms

Bound pad of laser copied text, 2008

The Son of the Son  &, A Dakotan Nature of Atoms are composite myth narratives of found, interwoven native North American folklore, and physics journals concerning the perception and nature of reality [of our sun]. The process exploits uncannily similar phrasings and sounds to swing between sequentially maintained selections. Showing the natural world separated and controlled by man through science, and concurrently inclusive of man within the universe as nature.

I have reproduced these textual images and bound them into pads (a method i have used with other drawings) - a free takeaway, something to carry, to return to - diminishing the object's value but leaving the content untouched.
